Workshops

Members of Gamelan X meet the last Sunday of each month to share kecak (also known as balinese 'monkey chant'), a style of interlocking vocal percussion and singing, with anyone who wishes to participate. This is a fun, participatory group workshop that weaves together voice, rhythm and interdependence as a community.  Laughter is encouraged and playfulness invited!  For those who attend Burning Man, look for us in the What Where When guide and join us as we chant together on the playa in an unforgettable large-scale improvisation.
